Austin Looks to Add 12 New Nonstop International Flights

In a Feb. 11 meeting, Austin-Bergstrom International Airport officials asked members of the Austin Airport Advisory Commission to review a list of 12 new nonstop international flights:

• Bogota, Colombia
• Dublin, Ireland
• Dubai, United Arab Emirates
• Guadalajara, Mexico
• Istanbul, Turkiye
• Lima, Peru
• Montego Bay, Jamaica
• Paris, France
• Reykjavik, Iceland
• San Jose, Costa Rica
• Seoul, South Korea
• Tokyo, Japan

Roughly 2.2 million passengers travel inbound and outbound from Austin per year, a 46 percent increase from 2019.

This trend is only increasing as Austin continues to rise in popularity as a travel destination, all around the world.
