The newly formed Central Texas Alliance is organizing business, government and civic leaders around the Austin-San Antonio corridor, with priorities including transportation, housing, workforce development, water, energy and infrastructure. More than 150 regional leaders attended its first major gathering this fall.
Central Texas is becoming something much larger than two neighboring cities. The communities between Austin and San Antonio are increasingly sharing workers, housing, infrastructure, investment and customers.
